1. Who Is Responsible for Your Information

DevotionCircle is operated by Gyanitalk Technologies (OPC) Private Limited (CIN U96906RJ2025OPC100685), registered at 114, Ostwal Plaza 2, (M CL), Sunderwas, Udaipur City, Udaipur, Rajasthan 313001, India. This company decides how and why your personal information is used on this store and is responsible for it.

2. Information We Collect and Why

We collect only what is needed for the purpose described next to it:

• Account and sign-in: your name, mobile number and email address, to create your account, sign you in and send order updates. Sign-in uses a one-time code sent by SMS; we never store that code in readable form.
• Unfinished sign-in or checkout: the name and mobile number you type at checkout or sign-in are saved as soon as you enter them, together with the items in your bag at that moment, even if you do not request or enter the one-time code. Our team may use them to contact you once to help you finish your order or sort out a sign-in problem (for example, a code that did not arrive). We delete them after 90 days, or close them as soon as you sign in. You can ask us to delete them at any time (see section 8).
• Delivery addresses: the addresses you enter or save, including an optional map link, to deliver your order.
• Orders: the items, prices, delivery details and order status, to accept, fulfil, track and support your purchase and to keep the records the law requires.
• Gifts and orders for someone else: the receiver’s name, mobile number and address, and any gift message, sender name or occasion you choose to add, so we can pack and deliver the gift. Please share another person’s details only with their consent.
• Saved bag: when you are signed in, the items in your bag are saved on our server so they are still there on your other devices. Our team may contact you about items left in your bag; you can ask us to stop at any time (see section 8).
• Wishlist and stock alerts: the products you save and the email address you give for a back-in-stock alert, to provide those features.
• Reviews: the rating and text you submit after a purchase. Approved reviews are shown publicly on the product page with your name as displayed with the review.
• Messages: the details you send through the contact, guidance or support forms, to answer your request.
• Newsletter: the email address you submit if you choose to subscribe, to send occasional updates.
• Site visits: the pages you open on this store, when you open them, the website that sent you here, your IP address and your device type, browser and operating system, linked to a random visit number. This shows our team how many people are using the store and which pages they visit, so we can improve it and spot problems. We keep it for 30 days, then delete it. These records stay on our own server, are not shared and are not used for advertising (Google Analytics is described in section 4).

Please do not send passwords, one-time codes, full card details or CVV in any message.

3. How We Use It

We use personal information to create and secure accounts, verify sign-ins, process and deliver orders, send order and delivery updates, answer questions and support requests, review returns and cancellations, keep transaction records, prevent misuse and fix technical problems. We do not use it for automated decisions about you and we do not sell personal information.

Newsletter messages are sent only if you subscribed. Essential messages about your account, security or an order you placed are sent when needed to provide the service.

4. Cookies and Storage on Your Device

Apart from Google Analytics (below), we use only essential cookies and browser storage: a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in on that device for up to 365 days unless you sign out, and browser storage for your bag, recently viewed products and the sound setting. Browser storage also holds the random visit number used for the site-visit records described in section 2.

We also use Google Analytics, a service of Google, to understand how many people visit the store, which pages they view and how they arrived. It sets its own cookies (named _ga) and sends Google your IP address, device and browser details and the pages you view; Google processes this under its own privacy policy. We use it only to measure and improve the store, not for advertising. You can block it with your browser’s cookie settings or Google’s opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

If you clear or block this storage, some shopping or account features may not work as expected.

5. Who We Share It With

We share only the information a provider needs to do its part, and only to run this store:

• Razorpay for online payments;
• MSG91 to send sign-in codes by SMS;
• Hostinger for website hosting, the database and email; and
• courier partners, who receive the name, phone number and address needed to deliver your parcel.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell or rent personal information.

6. Payments

Online payments are processed by Razorpay. You enter your card, UPI or bank details in Razorpay’s checkout; DevotionCircle never sees or stores them. We keep only the payment reference numbers and payment status needed to confirm and support your order.

7. How Long We Keep It and How We Protect It

We keep order and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting laws require, which can be up to 8 years. We keep your account, saved addresses and saved bag until you ask us to delete them, newsletter details until you unsubscribe, and technical records such as security and request-limit logs only for a short period.

The site uses HTTPS, sign-in codes are stored only in hashed form, payment and email credentials are stored encrypted, and access to customer information is limited to authorised staff. No system can be guaranteed completely secure; if you believe your account or information has been misused, contact us promptly.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
• correct or update information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• delete your information, except records we must keep by law;
• withdraw a consent you gave, for example for the newsletter or for being contacted about your saved bag;
• nominate another person to exercise these rights for you in the event of death or incapacity; and
• resolve a complaint about how we handled your information.

To make a request, email admin@devotioncircle.com from the email address or with the mobile number registered with your account, or use the support section in your account. We may need to verify that you control the account. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

9. Children and Changes to This Policy

The store is not directed at people under 18. Someone under 18 should use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal information without that involvement, contact us so we can review and delete it.

We may update this policy when the store or its providers change. We will post the current text here and update the date at the top of the page.
