Deepa Nair specialises in higher education: postgraduate courses, research, PhD admissions, and studying or settling abroad after a degree. She studies the 9th house (higher learning, teachers, long journeys), the 12th (foreign lands), the 5th (intellect) and the 4th (foundation), and the placement of Jupiter and Mercury along with their dignity in the Navamsa and the Dashamsha. Timing comes from dashas of planets linked to the 9th and 12th and Jupiter's transit, and Prashna Kundli answers urgent questions such as whether a pending application will succeed. Her style is patient, scholarly and kind, and she explains the reasoning in simple words. Remedies she suggests are traditional Kerala-style: lighting a lamp in the evening, Saraswati prayer, Thursday Vishnu worship and respect for teachers. She also guides on career and general life questions.
